Our school at 6R Fest! 🎉

On April 15, 2023, students of the 9th “B” grade of the school-gymnasium 24 named after Aaly Tokombaev took an active part in the festival (2nd in a row 6R Fest), which was dedicated to waste management in everyday life, under the motto “About waste – interesting and useful “.
The festival was held at the American University of Central Asia.
The event was organized by the Center for Civic Engagement (CCA) of AUCA as part of the Green AUCA (campus waste management program). The festival is timed to coincide with Green April, the month during which AUCA hosts a series of environmental events: workshops, a festival, tree planting and a community work day in Karagacheva Grove, and an ecotour.
The event was held with the support of the Kyrgyz-German-Swiss GIZ program “Green Economy and Sustainable Development of the Private Sector in the Kyrgyz Republic”.
