International Seminar on Methods of Teaching English.

On December 20-21, 2023, teachers of the Department Foreign Languages ​​of School-Gymnasium №24 Aralbayeva M.A., Kalybayeva N.A., Tuuganbayeva A.S., Esenbay K.N. took part in an international seminar on the methodology of teaching English in International University of Kyrgyzstan in Bishkek.

The speakers of the seminar were:
1.    Wendy Fenlayson – USA. Experienced methodologist in teaching English as a second foreign language.
Theme: Interactive warm up activity.
2.    Akunova G. T. – Senior Lecturer of the Faculty of Philology.
Theme: Digital technology in teaching reading.
3.    Abdyshkaeva V. M. – Senior Lecturer of the Faculty of Philology
Theme : Digital technology in teaching vocabulary.

According to the program, 12 hours were spent on the topic “Methods of teaching English” and important issues in teaching English were identified, such as involving students in the learning process and motivating them to apply the acquired knowledge in practice.
