Election of the President of the School Republic

On April 28, from 10:00 to 15:00, the School Republic successfully held the election of a new President, in which the turnout was 914 students, which is 52% of the total number of voters. During the voting, no violations were registered, and with the help of representatives of the CEC, the voting process took place in full compliance with the electoral legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The Center for Civic Education of the CEC of the Kyrgyz Republic assisted in the election of the President of the School Student Self-Government – the School Republic “Achyk Asman” using electoral technologies.

4 students were registered as candidates for the President of the School Student Government:

During the month there was a school campaign, where the candidates presented their programs for the development of the School Republic “Achyk-Asman”.

A school election commission was formed from among the school leadership and students. For them, the Center for Civic Education of the CEC of the Kyrgyz Republic developed special leaflets on organizing voting and summing up the voting results, protocols and test ballots. The voting procedure at the school was as close as possible to the current voting procedure for the elections of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Candidates for President of the School Republic fought for every vote, offering their programs and promises. But as a result of voting, the majority of voters voted for a worthy candidate.

Voting took place on April 28, 2023 from 10.00 to 15.00. Voters were identified through an electronic diary. The lists of voters of the School Republic “Achyk Asman” included students in grades 7-11 and teaching staff – 1769 voters. Of these, 914 voters (52%) took part.

The School Republic expresses great gratitude for the assistance provided in the conduct of elections to the Center for Civic Education and Electoral Technologies of the CEC of the Kyrgyz Republic represented by the director Aisuluu Bukambayeva and the CEC expert Alaibek Tumanov. Also, the Republic expresses its gratitude to the members of the School Election Commission, which worked in the composition of 10 people for 5 hours: Kupavtseva Larisa Nikolaevna, Kasymbek uulu Ularbek, Abdykarimova Kondaliza, Bolotbekova Ayana, Khabibulla Nabiulla, Zhamaliev Emir, Tabeeva Sogdiana, Tynchylykova Aisha and all other members School Republic
